On the first page of the book there goes a line, "THIS LANDMARK BOOK IS PART OF THE FIGHT AGAINST THIS DEVASTATING DISEASE" and if this is the one book about anorexia that is a must read, then Sandy Sherman is probably the therapist that everyone wants to have.

Looking back at the diet of books I grew up reading, it occurred to me that together with sci fi and romance, autobiography has never been a genre that I will actively seek to read.
