    Her eyes widened with shock when she first saw me. Halfway through our dinner, she confessed, "you look so different...so tired. It's like you've aged 10 years since I last saw you! You've lost your spark and that glow you used to have."

    When I was a child, I used to think that someone other than me by 1 year is really a big deal – that he/she is more knowledgeable, grown up than me. I would be in awe of my ‘seniors’. I wouldn’t even see them as my peers as they are high up and above.
